2024 Photo Dump!

My year in photos. I know I am a little late with this, but I had a lot of photos to get through and picking just a few is harder than you think. I mean I pretty much love them all. They represent some good and memorable moments in my life.

Not every photo is picture perfect or what professionals would even call good, that to me doesn't matter, it is the memory, the moment, the story. Please don't get me wrong, my pictures are passable viewable, and you can tell what they are, they just aren't all professional in quality. Since I am not a professional I guess that stands to reason.

Figuring how to lay out the photos for this dump has been a challenge to say the least. I decided to use as few words as possible and let the pictures do the talking.

  And here we go!

This past year I started and finished 3 baby quilts as well as piecing together a few others. I learned a few new tricks, added new products to my list of things I sew and in general increased my stash a great deal.

One of the coolest things I did this past year was show a quilt in a quilt show. I showed one of mine and one of my Grandma Fyie's that my cousin Ellen gifted to me.

Even more exciting was seeing my stuff in a store and that it was actually selling too.

When I am not sewing or otherwise creating, I do love to get out of the house and see what nature is up to.

The gardens Bill creates around the house are always a source of wonder, beauty and entertainment for me. I even have a wheres Waldo type photo of the caterpillars playing in the fennel seed plants.

Road trips are a must. We stayed close to home this year but we still got out and about when life allowed.

As always our year was filled with friends and parties. This is why I feel I am living the good life.

There are times when the oddest things catch my eye.

It wouldn't be summer without a visit to the beach, watching the sun go down, music, and flea markets.

Birds ! Need I say more.

We can't forget the dances, I try hard not to miss them and to play along with the themes. So fun!

The special occasions in 2024 were in deed special. Our family gained 2 new members. Clare and Theadore. I get to introduce Theadore this time around, but Clare and I haven't had camera time yet. I did say yet.

One of the most special days ever! Alex and Me!

I rejoined Curtain Callers, I can't begin to explain how much fun being in the plays can be. I just love it!

And then there are just random pictures that I like. I had no idea where to include them so they get a spot of their own.

We did all the holidays up just right, even starting a new tradition during the Christmas season. I have said it before I will say it again, I love our friends.

 Whats For Dinner;

It's a photo dump. Some of these I have no idea what, who, or how, but I cooked them at some point in 2024.

??

I enjoyed this chance to look back at the year and I really enjoyed sharing it with you.

             See you next time!

Ps,

If I am in the photo I didn't take it. I would give credit but we tend to interchange photos after the dances and such so I don't always know who took them.
