Dinner in the Summer Time/ Pork chop Marsala

Last night I thought I was having company for dinner so I pulled extra chops out of the freezer and spent the day racking my brain trying to figure out an impressive dish to serve. The company was just a friend of ours that we see all the time even still I like to impress.
I came up with a good idea and knew just which recipe I was going to use. Another one from Allrecipe. I went to look at the recipe and realized I had just one little problem.
4 star chicken marsala it is made using a cream sauce and well we just had a cream sauce on the cordon bleu. Lets face it cream sauce  is cream sauce and pretty much are all the same, pan drippings, cream and wine. So serving this particular recipe would be like eating the same thing all over again. While I was looking at the recipe and realizing it  isn't what I want, I look to the left of the page and start clicking on similar recipes that are being suggested. Allrecipe.com does make searching quick and easy. I kept clicking until I came across this recipe.Chicken Marsala
The only thing I changed was the meat I used pork chops with the bone. I beat the meat avoiding the bone as much as possible. I followed the recipe word for word, I did not feel a need to change a thing considering I was drooling when I first read the recipe and imagined my chops in place of  the chicken.

We ended up not having company for dinner so there was plenty of leftovers. A good thing because my dreams were filled with chops and gravy and all I could think about for breakfast this morning was pork chops covered in Marsala and mushroom gravy.
I set out to make an impressive dinner last night and I succeeded. I completely and totally impressed my self.
